When you are the return player, you must get the servers ball in play a high percentage of the time to have a chance to compete. The easiest way to proceed is to shorten your swing be removing the backswing and just blocking the ball back into play. As far as high percentage returns , depth always wins. You need to return the ball deep down the middle, or crosscourt. These are safe shots. Thanks so much for your faith in me! Look for my new book, Tennis Skills mastery, out in early August.
